The grilled platter was made to order, unfortunately the serving of meat was just about 3 or 4 little chunks the rest were bellpeppers and onions. The serving of lentil was also very little. I did not like that.
MoreVery good food. Veggie platter, gyro wrap, soups, and lady fingers. My favorites.
MoreBest middle eastern food around, by far. Fresh, always good. Go here, for sure!!
The Older of the Two Garbage Sisters. they need to fight about it, some bad comments.
MoreExcellent every time love the food, great for vegetarians
Friendly service, tasty falafel and memorabilia from Egypt all around. On a hot summer day it was so nice to refresh with a delicious hibiscus drink, then chow down on scrumptious food. For a down-to-earth taste of Egypt, this is the place!
MoreThese guys are the real deal. Delicious falafel, eggplant in various presentations and savory shawarma. Nice people
MoreThe best gyros I've ever had come from this place mr. Falafel is the best for gyro sandwiches and the falafels are fantastic
MoreHighly recommend!
My family and I have been coming here since the 1980s. Authentic but relaxed. Good food at a good prices. Be sure to check out their lunch specials.
MoreHave enjoyed their excellently prepared dishes for over twenty years.
The owner or the cashier person is so nice. We just wanted a falafel special to share since hungry is not top of the list. Portion is very generous. We had a falafel special and it's plenty for two of us. We are tiny ppl too so don't follow my suggestion. I would come back to try their other dishes one day since it super close to my gym. Everything looks freshly made and only complain is not enough pita bread with the food. Interior is so cute and authentic. You will feel like transfer to another country. Decro inside makes a super fun date. Owner is super friendly. I am sure its owned by a small family. I would suggest not giving customer straws for water. I am happy to drink from the cup. Do come here for Sunday or Saturday brunch as its pretty empty and no need to wait for tables.
MoreDelicious and inexpensive.
Monday through Friday there is a Menu. 6,95. 7,95 $. Fast and nice service also food was amazing.
MoreBest Egyptian food in Brooklyn.
Good place for a quick bite. Prices reasonable.
Such a great place. Everything is tasty.
Good quick bite at the right price
Great food
Great service, friendly owner, counter staff, chefs, and waitress! Food is great. You must have their babaganoush!
MoreThe falafel and hummus were very tasty. I really liked the hot sauce, too. It wasn't too spicy!
MoreThe guy with beard after he said to me how can help u he said very dirty and disrespectful word in Arabic he thinks I don’t understand while I speak Arabic , just wondering how many times he did that to costumers who doesn’t know Arabic this was frustrating and disappointing, ownership should hire respectful employees.
MoreThis restaurant reminded me what I love about Middle-Eastern Food!
All ways fresh and delicious
This is the best falafel I have ever eaten.
Good middle eastern fare, freshly prepared and reasonably priced. Can be slow on a busy day, but not today. Definitely worthwhile.
MoreSpectacular spot. Quick service and great food. Favorites are the falafel and kefta wraps
MoreI really wanted to love the food. Got the vegetarian falafel platter and it was essentially a diner house salad with three hard falafels placed on top. The tahini dressing was water-y and lacked flavor. I suppose you get what you pay for, it's cheap for a reason.
MoreJust tried this for the first time and ordered take out . Al the food was very well seasoned and hot . The cold dips were very fresh tasting and the pita bread was fresh and served warm . Prices are very affordable , food is fresh but not not all made to order . Which is why I am giving them 4 stars . But no over all. Negative comments
MoreReally love this spot! Friendly staff, fresh food, excellent quality, and no frills. I don’t normally like falafel but this place changed my mind! Would recommend one of their platter options, loved the tabbouleh :)
MoreMr. Falafel is nice small cozy joint. I had the lamb gyro/shawarama deluxe that included a salad and fries. The meat and special sauces were delicious and well cooked. Salad was also delicious. The fries however tasted a bit over cooked. Overall my experience was 8/10. I would definitely visit again.
MoreGood prices for the area. Meats are delicious. I wish the side order with salad was bigger. If you plan to dine in you can just walk and take a seat. Cashier will come to you and ask you what do you want. I will come back soon.
MoreI had the most yummy platter of kafta, falafel, and many veggie sides.
As I'm sitting here a customer at the next table asked the management for a band aid out of their first aid kit. It did not seem at all urgent, but when the management could not produce one they sent a member of their staff to the pharmacy to buy a box of band aids. Incredible. I felt compelled to write this review in order to acknowledge the above and beyond service recieved by someone else. As for the food, while not a revolution in mid eastern gastronomy, it is satisfying and very well priced for the neighborhood. I will come back and you should too if you want a yummy falafel platter or sandwich.
MoreI ordered the meat platter, comes with rice and veggies. Choice of soup or salad an add'l $3. Price is around $17 with add on. Love Mediterranean food, tasty and just feels well-balanced.
MoreGreat service and the food is always fresh
The employees were very friendly and the food is delicious
DELICIOUS!! The place is small and nothing spectacular to look at but the food is amazing.
MoreFood was not very fresh. Service poor.
I finally visited this restaurant and I was not disappointed they will see me again
MoreGood food, resonable prices, pleasant staff
Best food ever! From their lentil soup, to their moussaka, falafel, chicken cutlet is amazing. Highly recommend.
MoreOrdered chicken, rice and babaganush instead of vegetable They didn’t give me rice and changed extra for babaganushChicken kebab was more like just a grilled chicken and super salty I’m very upset because I payed more to enjoy babaganush + rice combination and didn’t get it
MoreA Park Slope institution. Great for take out, ambience is lacking for dining-in.
The guys have the best varieties of food and the rice is so good and dont sleep on the hot sauce
MoreJust love the food prices are excellent. The type of hole on the world you just have to 💘
MoreGot takeout during off peak hours. The falafel was fried to order and made with fresh herbs. Excellent hummus and baba ganoush—the grilled eggplant was nice and smoky. Warm friendly service to top it all off.
MoreConsistently wonderful
My favorite is their No. 4 platter!
